Not at all, we made sure that our final product is equally respectful towards all people and does not favor any specific political views. PIG is a fantasy, satirical game that’s spiced up with political and pop culture-themed jokes. It’s a game made by light-hearted people who keep our lives in perspective and treat all that’s portrayed in our game in the same way.
Our main goal was to combine solid, innovative and strategy-laden mechanics with humorous and satirical content, so during gameplay, players are forced to rack their brains and test their wits but should also have a good laugh while doing so.
We’re a free people and we’re not afraid to speak our minds. We believe in freedom of speech and artistic expression. Our game is a satire – an art form in which we express ourselves.
Nope, during game design we made sure to strike a balance between factions, making sure we make fun of of all political sides with no exceptions. In PIG, all sides of the political spectrum have equal chances to win, as well as equal chances to be mocked and laughed at.
To play PIG you don’t really need to know anything. We’re not screwing with you, gameplay is easy to learn and enjoyable on its own. Of course, understanding all these jokes, easter-eggs and references will boost the fun factor to the next level, but without them you will still have plenty of fun.
What a ridiculous question! PIG is a classic easy to learn, hard to master game. Basic rules can easily be learned in 10 minutes. PIG is a very intuitive, as well as casual and veteran player-friendly game.
That’s just crazy talk. The core box of the game is more than enough to enjoy the complete PIG experience. It’s fully playable and brings tons of satisfaction from gameplay. Add-ons merely increase the number of possible combinations and interactions between cards and players.
A single PIG game can accommodate 2 or 4 participants. In the 4 player game mode, players create two teams, and players in a team will need to cooperate if they want to achieve glorious victory.
No way! We’re a group of happy board game lovers and we put our whole hearts into this project. We intend to develop and support PIG for as long as people find joy in playing it.
We created our first small game specifically for the Polish market a few years back so it’s not our first adventure in the board game world. This experience allowed us to get plenty of knowledge of the process, taught us how to avoid rookie mistakes, and let us earn some money to take a shot at a major international crowdfunding project like PIG.
PIG from its very beginning has been developed in close cooperation with the community. All community ideas and suggestions, even the most absurd and wackiest ones, are taken into consideration. Follow us on Facebook and join the PIG group to share your thoughts.
