ABOUT THE GAME

PIG is a unique blend of a card game and a board game, thrusting players into the heart of an epic battle between humanity and alien invaders. Designed for 2 or 4 players, each participant plays with a custom-built deck. Officially classified by us as an “expandable card game with tactical combat”, PIG features over 600 cards, offering limitless possibilities for deck-building. This freedom ensures that every game feels fresh, unique and exciting. Players can choose from 5 factions—Left, Right, Authoritarian, Liberal, and Neutral—that can be combined to create powerful, tactical, and often hilarious combinations. The game revels in the grotesque absurdities of the modern world, featuring everything from famous figures and events to pop culture, internet memes, wild conspiracy theories, and interdimensional adventures. All of this seasoned with a huge dose of humor and politically incorrect gags. The gameplay revolves around placing cards on a board and maneuvering units to gain control and popularity. In addition to units, players can play buildings, upgrades, events, and counter cards to boost their chances of victory. Each player starts with 10 life points, and the main goal of the game is to reduce the opponent's life to zero. Good luck, and may the funniest (or sneakiest) strategist win!

STORY

Earth (Dimension No. 621311142315), year 2026

Planet Earth appears to be ruled by humans, but this is nothing more than an elaborate illusion. In truth, higher entities from distant galaxies have controlled the world since ancient times. Politicians and bankers, driven by their lust for power and wealth, have sold their souls to these interstellar lizards, wielding authority on their behalf. Under this tyrannical regime, humanity is forced into slave labor for greedy, evil corporations. Freedom of speech is now a distant memory, a relic of a bygone era. In the face of this oppression, one desperate man, John Kowalski—a passionate conspiracy theorist—chooses to risk it all. Against all odds, he manages to assassinate one of the highest-ranking Reptilians. However, this heroic act comes at a cost and it seals humanity’s tragic fate. Furious at the rebellion, the Reptilians decide to annihilate all who resist their rule. A massive mothership descends upon Earth, casting a menacing shadow over the land as it systematically reduces rebellious cities to rubble, imposing a new brutal order on the world. It seems the days of free humanity are numbered. However, in a remote corner of the globe, a faint glimmer of hope endures. The supreme leader of both Koreas—protector of the last human enclave in the Far East—refuses to yield. In a bold final act, he orders the launch of relatively precise missiles aimed at the lizard invaders' mothership. Tragically, a miscalculation by his engineers results in catastrophic consequences, as one of the rockets strikes what appears to be an ordinary farmland near Geneva… In the aftermath of the explosions, the damaged Large Hadron Collider succumbs to the chaos and erupts, creating a black hole that opens an interdimensional time portal. From this portal emerge beings with extraordinary powers and abilities unknown in this reality. Their worlds have already been destroyed, but the newcomers are determined to defend this one. Thus begins the last great battle for humanity's survival, and the fate of Earth now rests in your hands.

FACTIONS

Even on the brink of extinction, humanity still prioritizes its own selfish goals over the common good. Unfortunately, we can't even reach a consensus on how many genders exist, let alone on other fundamental issues. Some treacherous individuals side with the invaders, while others risk their lives to stand against tyranny. And you? If you had the power to decide the fate of humanity, which faction would you choose?

Authoritarian

Tyrants and their blinded followers who stop at nothing to execute their master’s will and seize absolute power. Their ranks are filled with deadly units skilled in both melee and ranged combat. Assassination and devastation are their bread and butter, making them formidable, though often undeniably evil—creatures.

Left

Caring and big-hearted, they always stand up for the little guy. Renowned for their love of sharing poverty, and the tendency to fight capitalism with hammer and sickle. They bring game-changing cards that uplift and empower each other. In unity they stand strong.

Neutral

Unbound by political ties: ordinary stuff and free spirits, sold out enough to join any other faction. Their strength lies in buildings and upgrades that deliver tremendous value to any deck, enabling diverse tactics and wild combinations.

Right

They love their freedom and their guns. Also, they defend their beliefs and capital with great conviction. They focus on powerful units, gaining popularity, and dominating through economics. Among their ranks are men of faith armed with supernatural abilities and artifacts, ready to turn the tide of any holy battle.

Liberals

Leaders and activists, infiltrated by sneaky aliens in disguise. They despise others and their so-called hate speech, relying instead on snowflake millennials and social justice warriors to derail fascist plans. Be aware of their unpredictable cancel culture! Peace, Love and woke.

CARD TYPES

Units

These units are the backbone of your forces. They are the only ones capable of moving across the board and engaging opponents in close or ranged combat. Make sure to include enough of them in your deck, or you'll end up in a bad way.

Events

These cards perform a wide variety of actions and are playable during your turn. They have the power to turn the tide of any battle or situation. Trust us, they can devastate your opponent just as effectively as units.

Buildings

Once placed on the board, they are immobile and serve various functions. They can strengthen your units, increase card-drawing capabilities, or drive your opponent crazy in countless other ways. The enemy can destroy them, so you need to guard them.

Counters

The only cards that can be played during your opponent's turn. You will use the unused popularity points from your last turn for this. Counter cards are known for being a real pain in the neck and can spectacularly thwart your opponent's plans.

Upgrades

Use them to strengthen your own units or weaken your opponent's units. They can be stacked and combined freely on a unit, allowing even a Beta male to become an Alpha or vice versa.

Artifacts*

A unique type of upgrade, each faction possesses a single, all-powerful artifact set. Collecting the entire set on the board unlocks powerful synergies between your cards, granting you unparalleled abilities and unleashing unlimited power!

*Available only in the “Need for Godspeed” expansion

DECK BUILDING

To kick your opponent’s ass, start by building a deck of 40 cards. Your deck can include a mix of units, buildings, events, counters, or upgrades, but there are rules to follow! You can include up to 2 copies of any regular card and only 1 copy of each unique card. A good idea at the beginning of your adventure with PIG is to have a large number of units in your deck—around 25 should be enough. Also, remember that your cards shouldn't be excessively expensive.

The game features five factions, each represented by a distinct color. You can mix cards from two adjacent colors on the faction compass, along with neutral cards (white). For example, you can build a deck with blue and black cards plus white cards, but you can’t include red or yellow cards in it. Remember, you cannot combine opposing colors on the faction compass in your deck.

So, politically incorrect novice: don't waste time, select the best cards, learn their synergies, craft epic combos, and show what you're capable of on the board of the Politically Incorrect Game!

GAMEPLAY

Building your own deck was just the first step—now the real challenge begins. Your skills and quick thinking will be put to the test in an epic battle! Start by drawing 5 cards from your deck. At this point, you can replace any number of them with new ones drawn from the top of your deck. Pro tip: low-cost cards are very handy in the early game—seriously! At the beginning of each turn, you will draw one additional card from your deck. Remember, the maximum number of cards in your hand is 8, so if you exceed this limit, you will be forced to discard the excess cards at the end of the turn.

Simply having cards is not enough; you also need to play them. To do this, you must pay their cost, which is shown in the top right corner of each card—this is called "popularity”. In the first turn, you have 1 popularity token. These tokens renew each turn, and their number increases by 1 with each turn, up to the 10th turn, from which point until the end of the game, you have a constant 10 popularity tokens at the beginning of your turn. Of course, there are cards that increase the popularity limit above 10, and they are usually used to play the most powerful legendary units.

Gameplay, in a nutshell, revolves around placing cards on the game board. Players move their units and battle opponents to gain tactical advantage over the board. In addition to units, you can play buildings, cast upgrades and artifacts on units, or use event and counter cards to turn the tide in your favor.

Each player starts with 10 life points. The ultimate goal of the game is to reduce the opponent's life to zero by attacking them with units directly from the slot on the board closest to them or indirectly with events and other cards. Stay sharp, if your deck runs out of cards, you lose instantly. If this happens remember: don’t hate the opponent, hate the game!

FAQ

Are you secretly funded by any political organizations or do you work on behalf of such organizations?

We are our own masters, sailors, and ship. We value independence and creative freedom. No one tells us what to do or pays us; in fact, it's quite the opposite – we invest our own private money into this venture. Of course, this project is an investment for us, and we hope for commercial success, but on our own terms. Let the market, that is, you – the players, be the judge.

Does the game encourage hate and target specific social groups or political views?

Absolutely not! We have made sure that our project does not promote or favor any specific political views or beliefs. PIG is a satirical game featuring jokes about politics and pop culture. It was created by a group of light-hearted individuals who want to enjoy life and treat everything depicted in the game with that same approach.

Is PIG just a humorous party game made for fun, or does it also have serious and balanced mechanics?

Mechanically, PIG is an accessible game suitable for party play, but also quite challenging to master. Our main goal was to combine solid, innovative, and tactical mechanics with satire. We want players to stretch their minds, test their skills, and either roll on the floor laughing or open their mouths in surprise during the game.
